ColorXV2

Colour grading with NVIDIA Control Panel parity

Per-application colour grading for Windows, matched slider-for-slider to the NVIDIA Control Panel.

Windows 10/11 · version 2.0.0 · one device per licence

What it does

NVIDIA parity

Brightness, contrast and gamma are matched slider-for-slider to the NVIDIA Control Panel. Digital Vibrance drives the driver directly, through NvAPI.

Per application

Link a profile to any game or app. It is applied when that window takes focus and removed when focus moves away.

The entire screen

One setting to grade the whole display instead of only linked applications.

Multi-monitor

Choose which display to grade. Ramps and driver saturation are both restored on exit.

Runs in the background

Close the window and it keeps working from the tray, including at Windows sign-in.

No background service

Nothing runs at boot unless you ask for it. No kernel driver, no kernel-level access.

Questions

Does it need an NVIDIA card?
No. Brightness, contrast and gamma use standard Windows GDI, so they work on any monitor. Digital Vibrance needs an NVIDIA driver, and the app says so plainly when one is not present rather than silently doing nothing.
Is this safe from anti-cheat?
The app queries the foreground process using PROCESS_QUERY_LIMITED_INFORMATION, which is the least-privileged query that works and is not the kind of access anti-cheat looks for. It does not read or write game memory, inject, or hook anything inside another process.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Licence keys are issued from a purchase and bound to one device; a device change can be reset for you directly.
Will it change my monitor permanently?
No. The exact colour settings each display had before ColorXV2 touched it are captured before the first change and written back when you quit.
